Thomas Payton-Greene’s audio-visual poem playfully picks apart the alpha male stereotype, and appeals to men to allow themselves expressions of vulnerability. The idea was inspired by Payton-Greene’s own relationship with his father; particularly by the fact that the two of them had never hugged. With a cast made up primarily of dancers, the film therefore seeks to meet its audience on a deeply physical level.
